Water Wars is the painting where the next war starts. Green head, half-gas-masked, drinking from a yellow dollar-sign drip that wraps around the canvas like a noose. The mouth is a red rectangle reading WATER WAR like a court summons. Chest is a purple military uniform with SPECIES stencilled on the shoulder — the war is no longer between countries, it is species-level. NATO at the bottom in yellow stripes like prison bars or piano keys. A.I. and IN GOD WE TRUST scrawled into the wall behind because both are coming with us into the next century. The single tear under the eye is the only soft thing in the whole painting.
